PA30 will highlight leaders, influencers, and readers who have paved the way for others in the HIV community.

Positively Aware (PA) is recognizing its 30 years of amplifying the concerns and resource needs for people living with HIV across the United States with PA30, a mostly digital commemoration of the magazine. Beginning in June, PA30 will highlight leaders, influencers, and readers who have paved the way for others in the HIV community in featured content in the print edition of the magazine and multimedia storytelling shared in email and on PA’s far-reaching social media networks. PA readers are encouraged to participate in the campaign by submitting their personal stories about PA’s impact on their journey with HIV. PA’s long-time editor, Jeff Berry says, “We’ve seen many changes in Positively Aware over the years, going from a local newsletter to a national magazine. Despite these changes we’ve always remained dedicated to our highest purpose—to deliver cutting-edge information in a way that’s easy to understand and affirming.” PA30 will culminate in the fall with a special event in Chicago with local celebrants and wide-ranging options for virtual participation.
