Hi, my name is Jeff Berry, and I'm the editor of Positively Aware magazine, and have been since 2005. I began working full-time at TPAN in 1992, and have been a member of the organization since 1990, and tested HIV-positive in 1989. I am a member of the AIDS Treatment Activists Coalition (ATAC)'s Drug Development Committee (DDC), and currently serve as co-chair of the DDC. The DDC provides input to academia, government and the pharmaceutical industry on HIV and hepatitis C drug development and research. I also serve on the Fair Pricing Coalition (FPC) where we work on pricing issues for HIV therapies. I love learning new ways in which I can advocate for my own health care, and how to lead a more fulfilling life living with HIV, and helping others to do the same. I currently reside on the North Side of Chicago with my partner Stephen and our two cats, Zach and Missy.
