...that i missed my flight?!?! 
i was just so tired this morning from the big move and all that i allowed myself an extra couple minutes of sleep, thinking that i could still make it to the airport in time. well, who would have thought that there would be bumper to bumper traffic on the kennedy on a sunny sunday afternoon?! i didn't get here until 15 minutes before i was actually scheduled to board. 
so, i rebooked myself on a flight that leaves out at 1:25am, arriving in mexico city at 5:30 in the morning. in the meantime, i guess i'll catch the broadcast of the opening plenary from here at the airport and spend some time reviewing my GRE vocabulary words. heck, i've got eight whole hours, so i could also get some more sleep, watch a couple of movies, and taste something from every restaurant in the international terminal. 
let's see...where should i start?!
